Na’ar is a sealocked nation in the northeastern hemisphere of Xanath. Na’ar is ruled by a king, most recently Akrash Na’ar, but as he is believed to have died in the Great Opening, the kingdom is searching diligently for a new king. But, due to dragonborne beliefs, a new king cannot simply be chosen, but must prove himself through his merits in addition to having royal blood.
Na’ar has been at war with Kal’thanos for many centuries, and the war has lasted so long partially due to Na’ar’s military might. Her soldiers are well known for their finesse and excellent training, and trainers from Na’ar’s military are extremely valued for teaching new recruits the world over.
In the past few years, Na’ar has seen additional trouble with the former Na’ar general Dred Klann rebelling and attempting to start a revolution, assumably so that he can take the crown. He has claimed an island north Na’ar as his own, and he is gathering more and more dragonborne to his cause, though no one except Dred knows what that really is.
